See posting response for "R R Macgregor" for a great starting point. Fax a request for each member of crew 113 to Archives Canada(Fax # is on form). You can find info to fill out forms from "Virtual Memorial" website. Good Luck , Darrin Kingston

My uncle was Pilot Officer Raymond Bruegeman - a member of crew 113. He was killed along with Jack Kelly and George Perkins on Aug 4, 1944. They are buried at Drosay Churchyard cemetery in France. I have his log book, his medals and some of his letters. I also have a photo of a small part of his plane that was made into a chickencoop by the farmer whose field they landed in. I heard that it was later place at a museum somewhere in France. Three of his five siblings as well as his wife eventually made it to France to visit his grave at Drosay, If you have more information to share, or if you would like some of my information, let me know.

I realize that this is an old post, but what were you able to come up with? My grandpa is G.H. Donovan and I'd love to know any more information you'd care to share.

Marilee, do you know which museum has the pieces of the Halifax? I plan to take a trip with my husband to visit the site where they crashed (specific location would be great, if you have that), the graves of the crew that did not make it, and another other sites related to the crash that we can.

Thanks!

PS - how do you directly contact members on this board?
