The Memories Recovered Project a tribute to veterans, beginning with those who served during World War II (1939-1945) and the Korean War (1950-53). Yorkshire Air Museum is a living memorial to all the Allied Air Forces personnel who operated from Yorkshire during the Second World War, and particularly the thousands of young people who gave their lives in that conflict.
