Wing Commander A. Blackburn, crew 124 (25 missions)

These photo's pose a few questions from reliable sources...

W/C Blackburn was never a F/Lt while with 431/434 squadron, so was this photo taken earlier? perhaps with 433 squadron?

The fellow on the left was was queried to be possibly F/Lt. G. Reynold's of 434, however he did not recieve his DFC till 1945, any answers?
